A compilation of Youth Clinics across the Island Health Region that provides free and confidential services to clients under 25 years of age that include education, counselling, resources and referrals.
Island Health Youth Clinics provide a free and confidential space for youth to speak with a nurse about health questions and any concerns. Care provided is culturally safe, gender-affirming, and fully inclusive in a sex-positive environment that's welcoming to all individuals. Depending on the site, youth will have access to additional heath care providers, such as physicians, nurse practitioners, and counsellors.

- Various immunizations,
- Free condoms and lubricant
- Free birth control and referrals (as needed),
- Free emergency contraception (ECP aka Plan B),
- Information, testing, and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (aka STI),
- HIV education and testing,
- Pregnancy testing and counselling on available options,
- Mental health and wellness support and referrals,
- Sexual decision-making and addressing sexual health and relationship questions,
- Harm reduction information and resources, including for vaping/smoking cessation and naloxone kit information.
How to Access
For individuals over 25 years of age, or any youth under 25 years old who are unable to access a Youth Clinic, visit the Smart Sex Clinic finder to locate a local clinic.

- Youth Clinics are available throughout South, Central and North Vancouver Island
- Note: Depending on the location, age ranges may vary - connect with local Youth Clinic for more information
- Some communities may have Youth Clinics at multiple sites - contact the local Youth Clinic to learn more about location hours and specific services offered for youth under 25 years of age.
