Chat line is available from 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM, seven days a week. (If we are ever offline between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM, we are experiencing technical difficulties.)
Through Crisis Chat, the Vancouver Island Crisis Society provides non-judgmental emotional support via online chat services, as well as offers resource information.

All crisis chat conversations are confidential, with no video communication used to ensure privacy. Age and gender information may be requested for statistical purposes and to help provide appropriate resources. Crisis Chat primarily serves individuals in the Vancouver Island area.
